My name is…

Alfredo, I am 14 years old and I attend Capitol Elementary School.
My hobbies are playing basketball, running, swimming, and listening to music. Future goals I’m willing to accomplish are graduating from high school with enough college credits to get accepted to a great university and after that, I want to pursue my career as architect. One way I think I’m going to be remembered here at Capitol is as the quiet boy in 7th grade turning into the loudmouth in 8th grade. My all-time favorite hero is my dad because even though he didn't get a education, he still has accomplished a lot from all the difficult obstacles that came in his way.

I will be remembered for…

I want to be remembered at Capitol for my accomplishments and for how much I’ve grown mentally and physically. One of my accomplishments that I’m really proud of is getting a high score in the Galileo reading test. I also want to be remembered as the quiet boy turning into a loudmouth. The last thing I want to be remembered as is being one of the students that got to go to New York. I also think of myself as being kind of an underdog because even though I didn’t play in any sports team, I got better at basketball with the help of my friends.

As mentioned before, the goals I want to accomplish in life are graduating from high school with enough college credits to get accepted into a good university so I can work my way towards being an architect. I really want to become an architect because I love to work with computers and graphs and because it's a job that pays well.

My All-time hero is…

My hero is my dad because even though he didn’t finish high school, he still accomplished a lot in his life. Sometimes my dad and I get into a lot of arguments about my grades and my behavior, and many of those times I didn’t listen because I thought he was trying to make me mad, but now I realize that he’s just warning not to make the same mistakes he made in his past.

These past two years have been incredible for me because I got meet many wonderful people and friends and I also had lots of fun going to New York. I think this is the best school I’ve been too.
