Kenya A.


My name is...
Kenya, I am an 8th grader at Capitol Elementary School. I am Intelligent, Responsible, and I also speak two languages. I love to hang out with my friends, and hear music such as hip hop. My favorite hobby is volleyball. This has been my school since four years ago. From my point of view this is the greatest school ever.

I will remember...
as the girl with many nicknames. My teachers will remember me by the girl that when she first started worried about whether she was smart or not, but now they will remember me by being confident in myself and not worrying to much . They will also remember me by the first eight grader to graduate from capitol elementay school.

I will attend...
high school, and study as hard as I can to become an important person when i grow up. I also want to attend the magnet program to learn a new language, and travel to china,france, or japan. Central will give me alot of opportunities, and im sure i will succed in my life.

One of my goals is to go to ASU and graduate as a doctor. Another goal is to have a great career and a good life.

    Kenya -

    Like I said, you have come SO FAR since 6th grade - from a shy student who thought she "couldn't do anything" to a confident, successful 8th grader who is ready for any challenge. It was very sad when you left us this year, but everyone is glad you are back to finish middle school at Capitol! I hope you continue to take on Life's challenges, don't be afraid to try new things (remember Capitol Coasters Club?! We aren't afraid of any silly roller coaster!) and continue to use your gift for language. I know that by the time you finish the International Studies Program you will be traveling the world and speaking THREE languages!
